What is it?
Aggressor Battle is the guild's own roleplaying text game. The Knight (You) must defend the KK Castle from aggressors that arrive to obtain the Veil Stone. Each week, an aggressor will arrive to fight the knights. You have seven days to kill it (unless otherwise stated). Sometimes there will be special aggressors.
Aggressor also has many modes like Solo and Bounty.

The Aggressor

The Aggressor will be posted on the Aggressor Battle section as a new thread with the date of how long the Aggressor is staying.
The thread will be formatted as shown:

*An aggressor attacks after you have attacked. The damage formula for the aggressor is as followed:

*An aggressor also has a target. If the aggressor is not defeated in
time, the target is destroyed and has the following effect:
-If target was Chatot Ticket Booth, the Booth will be closed for a week and no one can receive a ticket.
-If target was Missions, no missions will be posted for the next week.
-If target was Reincarnates, no one can claim a Reincarnate or Reincarnate Weapon for a week.
-If target was Arena and Champs, no battles will be accepted for one week.
-If target was Hakurei Shrine, no blessing will be given for any donations for a week.
-If target was Weekly Lottery, there will be no drawing for that week.

*Depending on the current Emblem you've unlocked, you may or may not attack the aggressor due to Emblem Restrictions. Emblem Restrictions will activate Restriction Abilities (more info in Titles/Abilties section).
Participation can be claimed by simply posting your highest emblem rank in the specified Emblem Type on the battle thread.
Participation grants knights 20 HDP, 5 EXP, and 1000 munni.

*Upon defeating an aggressor, it may drop equipment that will either be sold in the shop or given to the knights for free. All surviving attackers also gain 20 EXP, 100 HDP, and a random amount of munni the Aggressor drops.

*An important note. Sometimes Aggressors will have a form change. This causes the Aggressor to gain new powers and grow even stronger. You will have another 7 days to defeat it, and your HP will be all healed and ability uses all restored.

The Knight

As a Knight, it is your mission is to defeat the Aggressors. To fight, you must declare an attack using a declaration (You can find a template of the declaration here). Since this is a text-based game, you keep track of your own equipment, levels, etc. The admins have your information too, but you're mainly in-charge of your own stuff. If you ever need to figure what you're missing or have a question PM me (Shugo) as I'm the main record keeper.

*The first thing you need to put on your declaration is your basic info.

*Next up are your stats. This is determined by the rank you hold. Addition stats from HDP Ranks should be shown in ( ). i.e. (+1), (-2), (x2), etc.
When you level up, you also gain +1 stat to your choosing and +5 HP.
The base ranks have the following stats:

One note about stats is that HP is not counted in "all stats" unless an abilities states "all stats including HP." Another one is Max HP vs. HP. If an ability raises Max HP, your HP is fully healed during the effect.

*Next is the big one: EQUIPMENT. Equipment comes in several types, but are categorized into two major types: Basic Equips(a.k.a. gears) and Rare Equips (a.k.a. RE's). On your declaration, please specify which equipment you will be using and not be using.

*You also have different items to use in your arsenal. These items are mainly consumable, meaning they are one-use. Some might just be collectables that will be used as crafting material or to unlock other items/abilities. On your declaration, please specify which items you're using and not using.

*Titles are another type of equipment. Titles are unlocked in various ways, but the main method is having a chance that defeating an aggressor will give you one. By using the pass ability, Absorber of Knowledge, you are guaranteed a title when you defeat an aggressor. On your declaration, please specify which titles you will be using and not be using.

*Abilities give special effects for you to use in battle. Abilities cost AP points to use. You start with 50 AP and a AP Limit (a.k.a. APL) of 55. Your AP Limit is how much of your AP you can actually spend. Upon leveling you also gain +5 AP.

*You also have access to forms. Forms must be unlocked before using them. Information about Forms can be found here.

*The final part of your declaration is the attack. You start by listing your stats as followed: (Let's continue using the example with Darkball as your base rank and that you are level 4 with no equipment on.)

If your HP goes down to 0, you're declared dead and cannot attack anymore. You will earn no rewards except 10 EXP.

*In the declaration section, list down any additional effects, for example extra slot effects like adding one Keyblade slot or Reincarnate slot. Other things to mention are any copying-ability effects and if you use or burn an item. Then finally state how much damage you do to the Aggressor and how much it does to you. You will always attack first, then the Aggressor will attack you.

Equipments/Items

*Equipment, as mentioned before, help you defeat Aggressors. You can't go into battle naked, at least you shouldn't. However, you must learn about how stats work first.

*Stats - Equipment and Abilities can add extra stats to your base stats.
Addition stats that add or subtract stats are "bonus" stats.
Additional stats that multiply or divide your stats are "multipliers."
The rule of thumb is always "bonus stats first, multipliers after."

*As you know, there are two types of Equipment: Gears and RE's. One important note about equipment: You cannot swap equipment once you've done your first attack unless otherwise stated. The only time you can switch is if there is a Form Change in the Aggressor battle or by using your Backpack slot.

*Gears are mainly bought. Rarely would an aggressor drop gears. You can only equip one gear to each type, so one Head gear, one Body gear, one Arms gear. You get the idea. (An exception is pocket gears)

*Pocket gear is different than the other gears. For one, you're allowed to equip 2. These gear usually don't give stats but have special ablilites on them.

*Rare Equips (RE's) are mainly earned from defeating Aggressors (you may still have to buy them). Usually, you will be able to equip up to 5 RE's.
However there are some restrictions: [Any RE with a restriction is called a Restricted RE or RRE.]
>All RREs - Can only be equipped upon obtaining the Page emblem.
>Keyblades - Can only equip one. [Needs "Light Wisp" emblem to equip.]
>Darkness Weapons - Can only equip one. Takes 10 AP to equip and knights take 20 damage each time they attack. [Needs "Dark Ore" emblem to equip.]
>Dimension Armors - Can only equip one. Cannot be equipped with Reincarnate Weapons. Reincarnates cost 15 AP to equip and use their abilities. [Needs "Dimensional Explorer" emblem to equip.]
>Reincarnate Weapons - Can only equip one.

*You also have the "Backpack" slot. This slot is unlocked by earning the Page emblem. With the Backpack slot, you can hold up to two RE as reserves. This means you can swap RE's in your Backpack slot with the ones used in a battle. If you do, any abilities from those RE's swapped with be removed and cannot be used again until you reequip the RE that had the ability. There are also extensions to the the Backpack slot:
>Keyhole slot - You can add a Keyblade to your Backpack. This does not count towards your regular two RE slots.
>Shadows slot - You can add a Darkness Weapon to your Backpack. This does not count towards your regular two RE slots.
>Warped slot - You can add a Dimension/Danmaku Armor to your Backpack. This does not count towards your regular two RE slots.

*In addition, equiping certain RE's will grant a bonus. This bonus
is a Set Bonus. All effects and different kinds of set bonuses can be found here.

*Items are also important in Aggressor. These are separated into consumables and collectibles. Consumables are the only ones you will actually use in an Aggressor battle. Collectibles are used in crafting and other things.

*Consumables, like for example a [Potion], are used in Aggressor battles to give you an edge. To use a consumable, it will usually have a speed cost. This means by using the consumable you waste a point from your speed. If you don't remember, speed is the stat that determines how many times you attack. A [Potion] uses 1 speed, so if your speed stat is 9 and you use a potion it becomes 8. All consumables are used at the beginning of an attack. Some consumables may give you buffs or harm the Aggressor. Use these items to their full potential because sometimes they may determine whether you win or lose the battle.
In your declaration, make sure you list which and how many of a consumable you use.

*There are other equipment and items, but those will be explained when they are released.

Titles/Abilities

*Titles are valuable equipment. You can obtain them with a chance
from Aggressors. However, by using the passive ability, Absorber of Knowledge, you are guarenteed one when you defeat the Aggressor. Titles work in a simple fashion, they provide stats and sometimes abilities and you may equip as many as you want. Stats from titles are ALWAYS bonus stats and NEVER multiplier stats.

*Reincarnates are a special type of titles. They are not exactly counted as titles, so are unaffected by abilities that involve titles. Reincarnates act more as an ability, but need to be equipped like a title. The abilities given by Reincarnates always cost 0 AP, but the cost can be changed by an Aggressor's ability(s) or your own. Usually you may only equip one Reincarnate per battle.

*Abilities work by providing extra stats or giving you an advantage in a battle. There are certain abilities that function in a certain matter. Some might deal damage to the aggressor or negate one of the aggressor's abilities. There are some abilities that protect and heal you.

*Most abilities will be in-effect for the whole battle. However, some abilities will save "for one day," or "for one attack," and so on. Pay attention to these since some abilities may only be used at certain times.

*Some abilities also have burn costs. This mean you will have to burn, or destroy, an item. Many times it'll be a consumable item, but sometimes it might be as costly as burning a RE.

*Almost all abilities have a higher priority to aggressor abilties. This means, the aggressor's abilities take effect after your abilities do. So if an aggressor's abilities says reduce your defense to 0, then your defense is reduced to 0 AFTER your abilities have increased/decreased it.

*There are abilities that copy other abilities. A noteable example of this is the ability "Twin Blade." However, copy abilities have certain restrictions:
>Cannot copy abilities from RREs
>Once it copies an ability, it becomes that ability for the rest of the battle
>Can only copy an ability used in battle. [Exception: The first attacker may copy his/her own abilties.]

*There will be some abilities that increase Max HP or AP Limit. These abilities DO NOT recover HP or AP. They simply increase the maximum HP you have and maximum AP you can use.

*As mentioned before in the Aggressor section of the rules, there are abilities known as Restriction abilities. These abilities can only be activated by those claiming Participation. You can only activate one and it must be the same type as the Emblem Restriction. You can earn these abilities by gaining certain emblems.

*There are also other special abilities, but those will be explained once they are released.
